YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We WILL have our homegrown peaches this year!! They made it through the frost and the spring craziness!!! We are VERY lucky because most orchards in the midwest lost their entire crop (much like we did last year). The first peaches go to the farmers markets the end of June. Then we open full hours mid July at the orchard with freestone peaches. The Nectarines are harvested August 1st till the 12th.
We have been transplanting everything in the field and trying to survive the 6inches of rain we have had.
All the apples are growing nicely! Jeremy and Paul added a new orchard section where there used to be 25 year old trees. We are excited for the new MAIA varieties that most of you have tried by now. Apples are harvested starting August 20th.
Farmers Markets have started! Portsmouth on Tuesdays 9am-1pm on Market Street. Ashland, KY at the Central Park Thursdays 2-5:30pm and Saturdays on US60 at the Cedar Knoll Family Care Center 9am-12pm.
We have NEW fall tshirt designs. Pumpkins stacked. Apples by the boatload! Youth XS to XL and Adult S-4XL
Seniors...it's time to use your $50 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers. You will have a QR code with the app, or paper copy from the mail or a physical card. You can use them at the farm or at the farmers markets we attend.
