Currently we are harvesting the first plums, Methley. They are red with a small pit.
Unfortunately we lost the majority of the peach and nectarine crop. Some trees have 5 or 10 peaches and some are bare. If you see peaches at the farmers market, grab them, as there will only be a sprinkle this year. It was so cold this winter for days which forced the trees to produce only leaves instead of blooms. The trees that did have blooms lost them during the spring temperatures around 26degrees. The contender freestone peaches do have some peaches on the trees and will be ready early August. Its SO Sad, but unfortunatly that is farming :( There is no peach crop insurance, so we are going to need you to support our family extra this year!
